As a professor (officially teaching position: lecturer) at Brainster Next College, you will make a significant impact by training and mentoring the next generation of professionals. Professors serve multiple roles as lecturers, mentors, colleagues, and scholars. Full-time professors are expected not only to excel in classroom instruction but also to fulfill various responsibilities as active members of the college community.

By delivering lessons from the curriculum, through mentoring and sharing practical knowledge, and serving as a subject matter expert, you will guide the students through the subjects.
This is a full-time position and all lectures are conducted on-site.
Responsibilities:
- The professor must demonstrate deep subject knowledge, including key concepts, current and relevant research, methodologies, tools and techniques, and meaningful applications.
- Effective teaching reflects sound instructional methods drawn from the scholarship of teaching and learning, and cultivates a supportive learning environment that allows students to think critically and experiment with material.
- Select and develop instructional materials and plan and organize instruction to enhance student learning; create appropriate assignments to encourage student learning, the development of communication skills, and higher-order thinking; and use available instructional technology, as applicable.
- Use a variety of proven methods of engagement and assessment that facilitate student mastery of the content. Provide students with constructive, encouraging, and corrective feedback. Evaluate student learning by creating and applying course competencies and accurately evaluating student progress. Strive to increase teaching effectiveness through the application of appropriate teaching and learning strategies; evaluate student learning and modify instructional methods and strategies as appropriate to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with staff, and stakeholders from across the College and the community to create, preserve, and enhance important partnerships. Provide support for both adjunct and full-time colleagues in the form of consultation and cooperation; work as effective team members when required.
Requirements:
To be considered an ideal candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- The successful candidate will be capable of teaching college-level Software Engineering and Innovations or Graphic Design/UI/UX related subjects
- A minimum of M.Sc (Master) in a related field of Software Engineering Sciences or Design or other relevant/connected field is required with a minimum 8 GPA on both the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree of the candidate
- We seek teachers and scholars deeply committed to their field and creative in engaging students at the college with its delights and challenges.
- The ideal candidate will be a skilled educator with a demonstrated interest in engaging and challenging younger students with diverse backgrounds and a variety of approaches to learning and/or needs for learning supports
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a continued interest in the ongoing work in their field
- The ideal candidate will commit to advancing equity through rigorous curricula made accessible to students with varied academic backgrounds
- Preference will be given to those candidates who have earned a Ph.D. in their field and have both college and high school teaching experience
