About the job
As a Senior Finance Controller, you will oversee key financial operations, including managing Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely collections from non-performing clients, and coordinating with notaries and executors when needed. You will be responsible for virtual POS management, overseeing credit card payments, and handling invoicing and reporting through Pantheon ERP. Additionally, you will utilize a Bulk SMS platform for debt collection notices and collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent financial management skills, and the ability to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections from non-performing clients, including coordination with notaries and executors.
- Oversee Virtual POS system for processing client credit card payments and ensure smooth payment transactions.
- Utilize a Bulk SMS platform to send debt due notices to clients and maintain effective communication.
- Daily management of Pantheon ERP, including client accounts, invoicing, and configuration of new settings.
- Generate and issue client invoices through Pantheon ERP.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to the accounting team, specifically related to online payments via the Virtual POS.
- Review and interpret periodic reports on inflows, outflows, invoiced amounts, and other financial data and present them to management.
- Independently review and analyze records and reports in the Pantheon ERP system to ensure accuracy.
- Respond promptly and make informed decisions regarding financial matters to drive operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial transactions, identify any issues or discrepancies, and escalate as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial activities, maintaining compliance and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise financial reporting.
- Actively participate in projects and the launch of new products, focusing on strategic finance, forecasting, and controlling to support business growth and financial stability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance-related role or environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in ERP system management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics.
- Ability to present findings and conclusions clearly to management.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive actions without needing direction.
