About us

Brainster Next College is an accredited applied-science college based in Skopje. We champion practice over theory: students learn by building, tackling real projects with industry mentors and partner companies, and applying modern tools—including AI—across their work. As part of the wider Brainster community, we’re a network of educators, practitioners, and employers focused on turning potential into performance and launching job-ready talent. Internally, we operate like a modern product team: clear goals, high ownership, fast feedback loops, and a culture of kindness. Join us to help shape the next generation of creators and problem-solvers and to raise the bar for practical higher education in the region.

About the job

The Student Experience Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring students at Brainster Next remain engaged, supported, and on track from enrollment to graduation. • Run early interventions: contact at-risk students, hold 1:1 check-ins, create/track action plans, escalate when needed, and involve parents where appropriate.
  • Own structured feedback loops: run surveys, onboarding debriefs, group forums, and 1:1s; synthesize insights; coordinate actions with professors and the Academic Coordinator; close the loop with students.
  • Drive retention and manage withdrawals professionally; document causes and recommend prevention improvements.
  • Maintain student profiles (strengths, gaps, aspirations); guide career prep and targeted placement with the Partnerships team; prioritize high performers for internships, conferences, and projects.
  • Coordinate high-value activities (internships, hackathons, guest lectures, industry projects): promote participation, manage logistics, and collect partner/student feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with professors, the Academic Coordinator, Partnerships, and Student Services to resolve issues and improve the student experience.
  • Report weekly/monthly on engagement, retention, participation, NPS, and placement readiness;
  • Drive continuous improvement: turn insights into experiments, measure impact, and scale effective practices across cohorts.
